If you’ve been to Cozumel, you already know why divers keep coming back.
As a diver who has traveled to Cozumel multiple times a year since 2020, I’ve experienced the good, the bad, and everything in between. Over time, I found myself wanting something different from the typical Cozumel dive package: smaller boats, better service, more flexibility, and fewer travel headaches.
So I built the exact Cozumel trip I love to take myself—and I’m opening a limited number of spots for other divers who want to experience it too.
This isn't a traditional group tour. There are no forced group schedules or bundled travel requirements. Instead, I've put together the pieces that matter most—a great downtown hotel, small-boat valet diving with an operator I personally know and trust, and the flexibility to make the rest of the trip your own.
Small-Boat Valet Diving
January 15–18 | 4 Days of Diving | $520 per Diver
For the diving portion of the trip, we partner with Hammerhead Cozumel, the local dive operation I’ve personally been diving with since they opened.
Instead of crowded 20-person boats, you’ll dive from small, fast boats with approximately 6–8 divers maximum. It’s a more personal experience that gets you to the reefs quickly and gives you more time enjoying the part of the trip you came for—the diving.
And this is true valet diving.
Hammerhead handles the gear logistics for you. They set up your equipment, swap tanks between dives, rinse your gear after diving, and store it overnight. When you arrive the next morning, everything is ready to go.
You simply show up, gear up, and dive.
Your four-day diving package includes:
- 4 mornings of two-tank boat diving
- Small-group fast-boat diving
- Daily Cozumel Marine Park fees
- Hotel pickup and transportation to the marina each morning
- Gear setup, rinsing, and overnight storage
- Light lunch during the surface interval
- Fruit and water on the boat
Hammerhead will pick you up directly from Hotel Casa Mexicana each morning and return you to the hotel after diving, so you don't have to arrange transportation to and from the marina.
And yes, their fresh-made surface interval sandwiches are one of my favorite parts.
Your diving balance is paid directly to Hammerhead at the end of your week by Zelle, credit card, or cash.
Your Home Base in Downtown Cozumel
For this trip, I selected Hotel Casa Mexicana, located right on the Malecón in the heart of downtown Cozumel.
I personally stayed at Casa Mexicana on my most recent trip to Cozumel to evaluate the property for H2Oso clients. I wanted to make sure it was a place I would be comfortable recommending—and staying at myself.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is excellent, and the location makes it easy to enjoy Cozumel when you're not underwater.
Your stay includes a daily hot breakfast buffet, giving you an easy way to fuel up before a morning of diving.
When the day's diving is finished, you're within walking distance of restaurants, shops, bars, and the waterfront along the Malecón. And if you'd like recommendations, I'm happy to share some of my favorite places to eat and explore.
It's a comfortable home base that puts you right in the middle of downtown Cozumel, without the feeling of being isolated at a large all-inclusive resort.

$0 Down Flexibility
One of the things I wanted to preserve with this trip was flexibility.
You can reserve your room today with $0 down, and your accommodation payment isn't due until December 30, 2026.
That means you can secure your spot and your preferred room without having to pay for the hotel months in advance.
Airfare is also not included, giving you the freedom to use airline miles or points, book your preferred airline, and choose the schedule that works best for you.
